Is the California gift card cash-out threshold $10 or $15?

$15. California Senate Bill 22 raised it from $10 to $15 on April 1, 2026. Any gift card balance under $15 can be redeemed for cash on request, whether the card is physical or electronic. Older printed cards that still say $10 must follow the $15 rule too.
