Access and Usage

• You must register an account with Cardivo and obtain an API key to use the Cardivo API.
• You are responsible for all activities under your API key and must keep your API credentials secure.
• You may only use the API for legal, legitimate business purposes directly related to integrating Cardivo’s services.
• The API is intended solely for use by individual businesses offering gift cards to their own customers. It must not be monetized or resold in any manner where the primary or significant product offered is the Cardivo gift card functionality itself.API RestrictionsYou agree NOT to:
• Abuse the API or overload our servers through excessive calls.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or otherwise interfere with the API.
• Share your API credentials publicly or with unauthorized individuals.
• Use the API for malicious purposes or to harm Cardivo or its customers.Rate Limits and Fair Usage
• Cardivo sets rate limits to ensure fair access for all users. If you exceed these limits, we may temporarily suspend your access.
• Repeated violations of rate limits or usage guidelines may result in termination of your API access.
• Cardivo reserves the sole right to determine what constitutes fair and acceptable use.Data and Privacy
• You agree to protect user data accessed through the API, complying with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
• You must inform users clearly about how their data is being used if applicable.Intellectual Property
• Cardivo retains ownership of all intellectual property related to the API.
• These terms do not grant you ownership or rights beyond using the API to integrate with Cardivo’s services.Account Termination
• Cardivo reserves the right to terminate or suspend your API access immediately, without notice, if we detect any breach of these terms, suspicious activity, or misuse.
• Cardivo also reserves the absolute right to revoke API access at any time, for any reason, without exceptions.
• Upon termination, you must immediately cease using our API and delete any data obtained through the API if requested by Cardivo.Changes to Terms
• Cardivo may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.Liability and Warranty
• The Cardivo API is provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or performance.
• Cardivo is not liable for damages arising from your use of the API or inability to use the API.Governing Law
• These terms are governed by the laws applicable in New South Wales, Australia.By using the Cardivo API, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
